My goals are to: (i) not get it stolen; (ii) not die on it.
nice, details, what is it & where do you ride it & what happened to your last bike?
Have fun and wear a helmet, dude.
uhhhmm... 2013 Yamaha WR 250 Dual Sport (I always called em "enduros"). Haven't really ridden since I was a teenager .. used to ride 3-wheelers before they got banned. Walked into the dealer after work, got suckered into signing a loan..
I am not a fan of dual sports. Or Yamaha. Congrats to you though.
ya, I had a kd125 as a kid. it was an enduro until I eventually broke all the lites off on the trails
well out here we only got desert trails/roads, nothing but dirt, but I'll prolly spill it a few times anyway..
yeah.. I can't handle a crotch rocket if that's what you're saying
damn, looking at those pix, no wasted time mowing lawns huh?
That was gonna be my post
Looks great! I had an old ass Yanaha 400 enduring for years......great bike that I didn't give a shit about.
[h=2]Definition of TORQUE[/h]1
: a force that produces or tends to produce rotation or torsion <an automobile engine delivers torque to the drive shaft>; also : a measure of the effectiveness of such a force that consists of the product of the force and the perpendicular distance from the line of action of the force to the axis of rotation
If you're used to them beasties, party on! I haven't ridden in a long time, but I remember when i had a Yamaha Maxim 750, which was about as badass as it got in the mid-80's, for street bikes. This buddy of mine let me get on his puny little Yamaha 250 dirt bike, I don't know what it was called, and I immediately pulled the front end off the ground without even trying, slammed on the breaks, and knocked my wind out on the crossbar thingie on the handlebars...... This was how I learned about "torque"....
im wondering if any weeds poke up thro those rocks in the yard..
there's a severe drought in the southwest. even some of the golf courses are a brown patch
me I'm not the kinda guy to tend to a lawn. got rocks instead
Nice bike and that wide ratio gear box is puss with the heavier fly wheel
