His 'Oh Debbie" tapes were so creepy. I can't believe after hearing them she actually still married the guy…Yuck!

"I feel very privileged and lucky to have been a part of this for the last 19 years.”

I am not a scientist, but if Favale has been there since 1982, how is it that he claims it's been "19 years" ???

    What year is this?

    1982 was 33 years ago.

I'll bet that Vinny doesn't have 10 dollars saved up, either.

Kind of like Fred who claims he cannot retire even though he's pulled in $500K+ per year for at least a decade, and was paid handsomely before that.

I wonder what the King of Mars wasted his money on. I mean yeah he worked in NYC but he only married once and has one kid. I'd shit myself if he blew a chunk of his money on that awful band he has.

    The Fred thing baffles me.

He has not missed a single paycheck since 1985 (when did he join Stern)? Earlier? And you figure he's been paid above-average since no later than the early 1990's, right?

I estimate that he's earned close to $7mm dollars while working for Stern. It wouldn't shock me if he invested none of that, but there must be a pile of money somewhere.

Fred did invest in his wife's clothing shop that went out of business after 9/11. That could have eaten a huge chunk of his money. But he should have made a handsome sum in the past 14 years.

Have to admit I really liked that bit. Showed how any song, even "Restless, Restless" can sound great with a tremendous singer and big band sound.

    RIP Robert Goulet.

Fred also bought a place in the hamptons. Most likely not ocean front or with a bowling alley, but could have cost a million...

He became a fan and/or was on the show in '82. Article says he didn't work for Letterman until the move to CBS.

And Vinnie was upset because Goulet kept adding bits to lines, like "I could tell by the look on your pretty little face ..." and he changed the tone to a smug guy basically telling the woman that he wasn't gonna miss her, instead of Vinnie's whiny protagonist. Those were fun times, fun times.

its amazing he can be so incredibly oblivious (vinnie) i mean if he had even an ounce of self awareness he'd blow his brains out. can you imagine having to go to work the next day after "oh debbie" tapes aired ?!!

I was gonna say I wasn't sure what was more cringe-worthy, his tape or Gary's, but I think Gary's was mostly just pathetic, whereas Vinnie's was just plain creepy and sickening and gross. I think I'd have a harder time facing people in Vinnie's case.
