stan musials 6 home runs and 10 rbi is tough to beat in an all-star career but im gonna take willie mays most: games played in 24 total bases 20 hits 23 runs scored 20 triples 3 stolen bases 6 you got it say hey kid
its the all-star game tonight, im trying to keep these questions in tune with the sports stories of the day
I didn't know this off the top of my head, especially since it happened I was born, but I'd have to say Ted Williams, after whom the MVP award is named, in both 41 where he hit a walk off to win, and 46 when he returned from the military and went 4-4 with 2 HR. In my lifetime, Pedro in 99 was pretty crazy when he struck out 5 of 6 in the height of the steroid era, striking out Larry Walker, McGwire, Sosa, Bagwell, etc.
Say hey, Stan the man, and Teddy Ball game own all the records, I'd say Willie, Stan and Ted in that order.
