Grand theft felony vs a much lesser charge if caught

Somebody probably has a ragged out one with a clean VIN.
Take the parts (for free), fix it up and sell it.
Looks like it used to be an Acura TL.

Looks like a Chrysler. Smells like an inside job. It'll take a good part of the day or two to do this. Plus sufficient space, lighting, tools and associated noise. Stripped and dropped off at the abandoned house, then remove the wheels.

Usually u steal it and take it somewhere else to chop it down... But this place is so bad that than can chop it down in public. Also the owner stopped making payments and prob did most chopping down themselves... I've seen this done with homes .. Why not with cars

Also common if you owned a Honda and lived in central New Jersey in the early 90's. My Prelude ended up in Newark three times without me in it. Stripped to the bone, but they left the stereo. Go figure.

In the 80's too. I remember going to NYC as a little kid with my parents and seeing cars stripped and on cinder blocks.

Why would a normal person live in that city?
