    Yes!
I'm a very Good tipper 20-25% for Average to Good service.
Exceptional service More than 25% have tipped upwards of 50%.

Even for crappy service I leave 15% But will NOT return
Unless it's REALLY REALLY Bad. Then I'll complain and leave about 10-12% Only happened 1x though.

On several occasions where I have had meals comped(I used to have Several Family/Friends that were owners) it was a straight 100% as tip to the staff.

I worked in "high end" restaurants while putting myself thru school. I know how hard they work and what I should expect as service.

Wrong. He doesn't even pay. He expects everything to be comped since he is a celeb.

I circle the parking lot at sonic and throw out my trash and loose change to the car hops. I think that's pretty generous. :dontknow:

I worked as a waiter in college and that is a truly shit job so I do tend to over tip (like 30%) espcially if the waitress is hot and has given me any special help like recomendations from the menu.

i tip like 25-30%, always round up to the dollar. it's so embarassing when i go out for lunch with the ladies i work with when they get their smart phones out to work out 12% exactly and analyze the waitress's service to death to justify leaving under 15%. wish i could opt out of the lunches (i can't afford them to well) but i have to look like a team player.

    Where do you work, CuntCo?

I'd skip lunch with them. All that theater saves them what, 75 cents to a buck apiece? That's just nasty.

When I lived in America I tipped well: at least 20% for meals, a buck a drink, throw the loose change in the obnoxious tip cup at the counter, etc. But I hated it; everybody's got their hand out over there.

Here in Europe ya gots to earn it, which is nice. If I don't get the good service, I don't leave anything, and I feel fine with it. Fuck 'em if they don't do their job right.

It's also a relief to go into a pub in London and not have to automatically fork out an extra pound with every fucking pint!

I'm not Buscemi in "Reservoir Dogs", but you gots to give me a smile, and an "is everything ok?" check during the proceedings if you want a tip. Don't go into the witness protection program after you bring me my meal.

pretty much. it's a pink collar job. thing is, these ladies have husbands with decent paying jobs and can afford to go out to lunch all the time which i don't. plus i hate sitting at a table talking with them. plus they always choose a place where the vegetarian option is like a bun with lettuce and a slice of tomato on it. i'd love to skip lunch but a job is hopefully opening up soon that pays more in the dept. so why spoil my reputation with the hiring committee over 10-15 bucks a month.

Amen! If you got it? Tip it well! (The wife says I go overboard tipping!)
