Fucker didn't leave me anything. What a dick.
This should be tied up in court for the next 15 years.
Still can't believe he's gone.
...my lawyer says i have a good case on my inheritance ripoff (thanks bro) but it will only cost 50k to litigate it.
Why? That is a pretty standard New York State formula for testamentary dispoisition
i thought it said he left her his Wii
i was like cool, what games did it come with
Looks like she can afford the ticket ... back from suffragette city.
Nothing to charity....hmmm.
u know robin, im surprised david bower didnt leave me anything, i was his biggest fan.
that cheap bastard
Worth $100 mil. I always heard he had way more money than that, like he was practically a billionaire.
Doesn't seem right that someone like Bowie, who was such an artist for so many years, died with less money than Howard will.
But when Howard finally does go the will be much more interesting.
That kind of makes sense because the value of the "Bowie Bonds" in 1997 was $55 million and he last toured in 2004, unlike many of his contempories who cashed in with touring in the past 10 years or so.
As I noted in the other Bowie thread, he probably had assets such as the copyrights to his songs in trusts, which avoid probate and are not included in the assets identified in the Will.
The charity money may have been given prior to death...we don't really have all the details, only what gets reported.
One thing I noticed about the news of this-the homes are not included in the total $ amount. I would imagine the properties are worth millions.
I never understood why he stopped touring, considering his staggering back catalogue and the fact there's an entire generation of young adults who've never seen him perform. He could have made scary, super freaky coin.
