Will he be on his last week?
The day after he leaves
He knows it's a slow build
Howard better hope he doesn't get bumped for Jennifer Lawrence again. The schedule might be too packed to rebook him.
"Dave, now that I know you'll have some free time, I want to know when we're gonna teach that fakahkta SKUNK Jay Leno a lesson?!?" Grant Tinker, etc.
Maybe the wig will finally confront Dave about the secret Fuck Room Dave had for interns. Wig yammered for weeks about how he couldnt wait to go on the show to rip Dave up...
Yeah, it kinda stunk how Howard of all people got on his high horse when that whole extortion thing went down. Letterman could've used some friends then, although IIRC it helped him ratings-wise.
I thought Howard was going to interview Dave on his last show
The last 2 or 3 times, (maybe more), he's been on Dave's show he lost in the ratings.
As a matter of fact, he once lost to a Leno rerun.
He also loses to Nightline.
If Dave was smart, he'd tell the King of all Sellouts to go fuck himself and ruin someones elses ratings.
Dave asked me to come on to bash Leno but I just didn't have the time Robin. It's a whole thing
I don't have time to go on Letterman Robin, I've been working way too hard.
If and when he goes on, he'll make it all about himself. It's what the Wig does.
David Letterman will leave his "Late Show" post with a star-studded list of guests.
CBS announced Monday the slate of stars expected to appear during Letterman's final 28 shows.
Among them? George Clooney, Robert Downey, Jr., Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks, Jack Hanna, Scarlett Johansson, Michael Keaton, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Sarah Jessica Parker, Don Rickles, Julia Roberts, Ray Romano, Paul Rudd, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Short, Howard Stern, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Oprah Winfrey, The Avett Brothers and Brandi Carlile, Elvis Costello, Dave Matthews Band, Emmylou Harris, Norah Jones, Mumford and Sons, Ralph Stanley and Amos Lee.
More guests will be announced soon. There's no word on which stars will appear during Letterman's final episode on May 20.
I would like to see Hanks and Stern on the same night but neither will be a 2nd guest.
"Robin, you know, Dave called me the other day and he wants me to come on during his last week, but Jesus...I'm just so tired from working 3 days a week and cashing all that AGT money...
I think I'll just stay home, paint, feed the cats, work on my next big project which you guys are going to absolutely flip out over, and then sleep.
This is what is always so annoying when Howard is on a show. He has to take over. I remember as a kid being excited to see Howard on a talk show like Letterman or Leno, then was always sadly disappointed after watching. Howard's Letterman interviews are usually Howard saying "look Dave........" And Dave with that annoying laugh.
Maybe if Joan Rivers' corpse is unavailable.
I rather see Leno on before Howard for the last day.
Howie is listed among his guests in the last month, along with Baldwin, Clooney, Hanks, Seinfeld, Rickles, Bill Murray, Steve Martin, Oprah, etc... How come Howie hasn't mentioned this?
Wonder if they'll trot down memory lane on gals they've shared?
