I hope the fans will be ruthless to you next year but unfortunately Red Sox fans are soft now.
I follow the Dodgers on Insta. AMA.
Red Sox better team on paper, got only 3 hits against a good pitcher. Thats why baseball sucks, its so damn streaky. Red Sox offense has been cold since the last week of the season and theyll get beat by the inferior team just because they are hotter at the moment.
For $217 million, they should be ruthless to him. He made history by the fact that his team has never won any of the eight postseason starts he has made. He was probably giggling all the way to the bank after he signed that ridiculous contract.
Indians had a better regular season record than Boston (thus home field advantage) and did it with lots of injuries so not following your logic of Boston losing to an inferior team.
All the David Ortiz retirement stuff was distracting and they werent focusing as much as they should have on getting the best record.
I'm already sick of this cubs bs.
I still think the Sox are going to pull it out. Don't get too comfortable, Cleveland fans.
These have been great games to watch. Those back to back to back HR's the other night was amazing. The close plays have been razor close. Nice to see Francona again, he's a hell of a coach.
Price has been disappointing. The fan base never wanted to see Lester go. We'll see if Price throws a tantrum or takes the fan hammer like a man and puts it behind him like Lackey was able to.
High Price for a crappy pitcher
Toronto laughed at the money Price wanted especially after last years playoff performance. Instead they signed Happ, saved millions and they got a 20 game winner and someone who can perform in the postseason with the win yesterday against the Rangers. Best part is Boston paying this guy $31000000/year for 6 more years lol.
Red Sox love to throw money around. idiots
last year against the royals
when that fuck up in the infield/outfield caused that ball to drop
he completely fell apart
he's a great pitcher but seems to be missing that something that makes someone special or whatever
Of course the powers that be prefer the Sox. They're drooling for a Cubs/Sox WS. The Indians have a good team with Miller and Kluber to lead them. I like them for the WS. Plus karma may be on their side.
I'm a sox fan and super pissed. But the truth is that they like to say they pay him for the playoffs, but they don't. they pay him to keep them competitive all season and fill up the stadium. he helped do that.
if your team isn't left you gotta root for the Tribe
how could you not
if your team is in it tell me how there ain't a part of you still rooting for the Tribe
I am a Yankees fan and I'm rooting for the Cubs. I want to see them finally win.
It will also be a nice eff you to the Red Sox by Theo Epstein if the Cubs win
I'm more than happy to see them keep losing
not because I have any nasty feelings about the team
it's some accomplishment for a big time team to have done what they've done
i'd like to see it keep going
Jays fan here...Price wore out his welcome in Toronto by the end of the playoffs last year. It's easy to see how moody and selfish the guy is when you watch him daily. I was glad the Jays didn't chase him and for once I was right.
