I wish I had photoshopping skills, I'd rewrite that sign to read, "Dawg's Saloon After Hours" :(

Hey brother, I'm glad to see you here. I've got that carb boxed up, haven't had the chance to ship it out yet. Will do it tomorrow or Saturday for sure. Thanks again, man, I couldn't tell you how much I appreciate it.

    Cool, don't sweat it.

That fucker will be like new when I'm done with it lol.

There may be some other stuff you need to do to get it running right after you put the carb back on, I know you can do it, I have faith in ya.

LOL, I hope so. I really do love the thing, it's fun to drive and can go anywhere.

What do you know about soundproofing it, though? I've got a hearing condition (tinnitus) and it kind of aggravates it when I drive for too long.

They sell this shit called dynamat for soundproofing, all of the hot rodders use it. But it's insanely expensive, so I went to a local place here (which I can't remember right now) and bought some like half inch foam padding and spray glued it inside the doors behind the panels, and inside the rear quarter panels. Makes a huge difference. I did all of this while I was putting it back together though. I also bought a padding kit to glue to the roof above the headliner, my upholstery guy put that in. Those doors are all rattly, and putting that foam in there would make a big difference.
