Here we'll talk about what gets us around.
Cars, trucks, motorcycles, planes, subways, skateboards or hovercraft, even boats.

What you like, what you hate.
That 69' Camaro you sold for $3500 or that minibike you had thet went through your fence.
What cars or trucks do you want?
    What was your worst lemon?

Let's have fun, or even show off out taste.

    Here's my garden variety Hyundai.
It was cheap, bought it new in 2002.
    Nothing special right?

It has 310,250 miles with no major work. Motor never opened up, trans never worked on, 5000 mi oil changes and I drove it hard from day 1.
310,000+ and purrs like a kitten.

2006 Toyota Sequoia with 105K. Runs like day I bought it. Brakes, tires, oil, and wiper blades. Today I had to replace the gas cap because the seal failed and caused me fail my state emissions test. That is the extent of maintenance.

Recently traded in my old lady's 2008 Buick Enclave with about 82K on it. Picked it up in 2011 with 27K. That thing was a fucking problem literally from day 1. Water pump, AC, transmission, nav display all went tits up. Pretty sure I am done with Detroit.

I'm the only guy I know that loves the Ford Mustang II. I bought one from my buddy's mechanic dad in '91 when I was 16. A factory red number with a V-6, four-speed transmission w/ a high-performance clutch. Fucker FLEW off the line. The class asshole got a new Camaro Z-28 for his 16th. The cocksucker made fun of my ride and begged me to race end-to-end at the h.s. Parking lot. My bucket won. Turns out that I beat him in the game of life too.

No, I like the Mustang II.
The Cobra version was very cool.
The 302 was smogged down horribly.
So what, yank that shit & run it.

I think they will be very collectible in the near future. Grab one now.

    A co-worker keeps buying Cadillacs.
Nice when new, but so much gadgetry to go belly up, and it does.

When looking at new vehicles, everyone should ask themselves if that ultra cool gadget is going to work in 10 years.

Take pics of your cars, motorcycles, boats ect.
    Let's see it.
It's not showing off when it's what you have.

I took my stupid Hyundai up to 105 with 300,000+
    Look, no check engine light.
    Look carefully at the miles.

When I was 22, I had a 930 Turbo... the real deal. I got stupid, sold it to contribute to my wedding and that lasted all of 13mos. I punch myself every now and then for being a pussy whipped mark.

I had a 76 VW Campmobile ("Westfalia") that I'd dolled up w really nice paint, a deep-cycle RV battery and circuit block to run lights and fans, et cetera. Ran great. Took some fun trips in it. Great vehicle for when the kids were small (AND NOT A MINI VAN)... Sadly, I got tired of working on it.

I had a 06 Titan I liked a lot, always wanted a big truck... 6" lift, coilovers designed for that model in front, CAI, dual exhaust. It was a blast to drive, more power than anyone needed.

Had a 04 Prius. Interesting idea. Kind of prissy, though, somehow, didn't really like the car that much. Great MPG!

    Man I love those Westphalia's.
    They are very pricey now.

As far as power, I tow a 14,000 lb toyhauler.
I'll go into my truck later.

This was the color of my girl with a tan interior. Didn't have these ugly wheels though. Some owners have no style sense.

Just a word of wisdom to you young guns with a nice ride. If you ever decide to get hitched, and your future wife asks you to sell your classic car, it is a sure sign her family is cheap and you should RUN away.

my first ride was a '72 Chevy Nova. built up a 283 and mated it to a 2 speed powerglide. bagged the snot outta that thing until it died and sold it cheap. stupid fucking kid I was.

then got an '80 GM shortbox. built 350, 4 speed, NP 205 transfer case. was one of those black gold specials, rebuilt it from the ground up and painted it black. was a cool little truck.

bought a half dozen new trucks since then, favorite one I still own is an '06 GM 496ci gasser with the Allison 6 speed. use it to pull my 40' toyhauler. have a 2010 GM half ton I use for everything else
