    This thing is quite literally one of the best things I've ever purchased. There's such an awesome flavor profile gained when cooking on charcoal, and the spinning action bastes as it cooks.

    Favorite recipes;

    Chicken is a must. Whole chicken takes about 5 minutes to truss and set. After that, it's set and forget. Brush on your favorite sauce or glaze near the end and its lights out delicious.

    Whole pork loin and primal cuts are also delicious. Full beef tenderloin crusted with coffee, cayenne and some herbs was bastes with butter and amazing.

    Cons:
    Lots to store. The spit is large and it does nestle beneath the lid, but finding a grill cover is hard. The tines are also tough to keep that shiny finish. Always emerge from the grill charcoal black and require scrubbing or soaking.

    Pros:
    Fucking awesome food. Fairly cheap. Comes with a counterweight to balance awkward cuts. Holds up to 3 chickens.

    bought a flexible 3ft long plastic shoe horn at Dollar Tree..

    I give it a 4.5 star out of 5 rating for convenience, laziness in avoiding having to bend... .5 points deducted for price but as an investment, it's already paid for itself :up:
