    Treked up the 3864' peak,Obervation deck,Rock City,Nature and Such,Eight bridges are visible, from west to east; San Mateo; Bay; Golden Gate; San Rafael; Carquinez; Benicia; Antioch and Rio Vista
    It does boast one of the largest viewsheds in the Western United States.To the East Yosemites Sentinel dome and to the North Lassen peak 181 miles away can be seen on a clear day. Mt Shasta 240 miles to the North is hidden by the curvature of the earth.

    This light {10 million candle power} atop the peak was instaled by Standard oil company to help guide aircraft into the Bat Area in 1928 is visable to a 100 miles

    Awesome. I love those hand and foot holds in the sandstone. Turns out humans actually did something utilitarian and beautiful at the same time. :)

    A sandwich shop I used to frequent had a wooden counter where you paid, I started carving an anarchy symbol into it while I waited, then a bunch of other people did too. This is much worse though.

    God I hate that. It really does make me sick. I frequent a nearby waterfall and idiots have carved shit into wood and rocks. Disrespecting nature and animals is the number one thing that will redden my face with anger. :mad:

    I've been here since '68 never rode a cable car or have taken the trip to Alcatraz island. # 10 wait for a clear day and take a trip up.
