Any of you familiar with or live in the area? Haven't been there since the 90's. Any rock bars? Cool shit to check out?

Before you give me shit, the only reason we're going there is a friend owns a condo on the beach, and we're meeting up with them and another couple.

Not really man. The Boot Hill Saloon is okay. Nice authentic dive bar is called Crooks Den.....it's pretty exciting late at night. Mai Tai's is cool, have seen some good music there. Dirty Harry's "the rocker/biker bar". If you like Vinyl I highly recommend checking out Atlantic Sounds, excellent, excellent record store. The owner can come off as a bit gruff but he's great. Finally you can have some fun watching the dog races or playing poker at Daytona Beach Kennel Club and Poker Room. I recommend the super the super saver bet which is like 10 cents, you pick the winner and the dogs that will finish 2nd, 3rd, and 4th can come in any order as long as you picked those 3 dogs. I only won 20 bucks on my bet because so many people picked the same order but I've had friends that have won 300-600+ off a 10 cents bet. Your picking a good time to go weather wise, shouldn't be so humid at night. Remember St. Augustine is only an hour away and it's a very enjoyable ride. Lot of fun happening stuff to do there, holler at me you need some recommendations for St. Augustine.

I knew something was up there when a few years back you could get a beachfront condo for $80,000.

Panama City Beach used to be the spot in FL for Spring Break. But the new drinking ban is driving all the gorgeous sluts away :(

Love the Ocean Deck bar. But yeah, Daytona's best days were in the past.

Check and see if the speedway has the Richard Petty experience going on....A ride along as a passenger will get you over a 160 mph, or do the course yourself which will get you in the mid 140's....I did 146

Stay inside, booze and drug it up and have one hell of an orgy.

That's kind of like reliving the good 'ol days of 80's Daytona Spring Break.

I'm spending a month on the north side of Flagler after Thanksgiving. Super quiet. Was there in June and you barely saw anyone on the beach.
