Which do you prefer?
Who is that woman here that hates you so much Benny
It's a tough choice, but I'd have to go w/ DeNiro. Pacino overdoes it sometimes.
she negs all my posts, the bitch.
I don't think this one's even going to be close.
They both appear to be affected to a ridiculous degree in real life, but at least De Niro still retains the ability to occasionally portray a relatively normal human being in a semi-believable way on the screen.
Pacino doesn't merely chew the scenery in his film roles -he swallows it whole.
Its Deniro, not even close
Pacino.....for this.....and this alone:
Pacino---He's a stage actor, he's done Shakespeare, TV actor, director and producer as well as a movie actor
I love Pacino so much.
This one is still a no brainer.
Yes - I'm with you in this.
I love watching DeNiro on screen but he's really the same character in all his movies. Even going back to Brazil or Raging Bull - he's .... Well he's Bobby D. Which is great - he's fun to watch
But if you are comparing ability to stretch into different roles - ya gotta go with Pacino. Yes - most of the time he's playing the same Character too - but look at a young Michael Corleone vs the character he played in Donny Brasco
So wrt play different characters - the win goes to Pacino
But there are other actors who are even better at being believable in different roles. Sean Penn is a great example.
I have to go with Pacino simply because he was oddly sexy in Sea of Love.
have you ever seen Pacino on stage? No one does Mamet's works more justice
And of course he was panty-dropping gorgeous in The Godfather.
Can I change my vote?
