Lesson: Sometimes when you want to fight for a living, your brain gets killed.
And: You can't count on idiots to keep you alive in said situations.

Something here just doesn't compute. It was the kid's first fight, he didn't take any devastating shots - at least none that were shown in the video - and he was wobbly almost from the very beginning of the fight.

Certainly the fight should have been stopped much earlier and, yes, there did appear to be some negligence apparent on the part of the ref and ringside doctor. But nobody should have been able to see the warning signs sooner than his own trainers. Why they would have kept sending him out there when he could barely keep his head in the corner between rounds is a mystery to me.

They cut away during the first round and say you see his issues happening at the start of the second round. I agree that the other guy didn't look like a big hitter but without seeing all of the first round we can't say for sure.

Someone who should own a lot of that blame. Is that fuckin trainer/coach! If Eddie Futch, wouldn't send Joe Frazier out for the remaining fight. When Frazier was an experienced fighter. And not so much dead in the water. But literally blind... Why the fuck, would you send out a first fight rookie?!! When he was clearly rocked going in to round 2?!! That's just a fuckload of stupidity!!
