Listening to random O&A stuff and this one

Is an interesting look back knowing where THSS has gone. The first shots are fired at his appearance which isn't all that surprising, even then. But at 27:20ish, O&A are already talking about the four-day-week. At this point THSS was just on the air. Was this more inside information at the time? I want to say he did 5 days for more than a month.

I signed up for Sirius in 2002. It was a really quiet place for a couple of years.

They used to welcome new listeners by name/city. You'd be listening to a show and they'd say, "Welcome Randy G. from Atlanta" or something like that.

3-4 people showed up to the SiriusXM protest after Anthony was fired last year.

Reminds me of an episode of Frasier when he got fired, and his 3 fans held a protest rally. A reporter on tv said:

"Did you ever ask yourself, What if they held a rally and nobody came?" :jj:

I can only remember the Friday show, which at the time I enjoyed. It didn't take long before it was axed of course.

You have a better memory than I do for sure.

Don't forget the multiple times he said he could do one show a week and it's better than nothing.

Don't remember the date but I've heard the theory that it was after he had reached all the attainable subscriber bonus numbers in his contract. Knowing Howard, that makes sense.

I have to say, I rather enjoyed listening to those 2 rail against fucknut for an hour. I know they're far from popular in the shed, but it's refreshing to hear at least someone talk negatively against fucknut - not pussy-footing around him like most entertainers have done.

It's too bad Sirius ended up on top. I would have LOVED to seer Howard fail in a HUGE way for half billion a year, that's billion with a B. Fail the same way AGT has since his name appeared on their marquee.

And I have to say, I have always loved his spin on losing 25% of their audience before he showed up..... "NBC is very pleased with me Robin. They said they would have lost MORE if I didn't come along to save the show."

How fucking delusional is that..... that always gets a smile out of me.

That's just Howard in his little bubble again. Creating whatever reality boosts his ego the most.
