White Pony still gets a lot of play on my iPod. That was their peak, IMO.

I am on the peripheries of Deftones fandom, but I must say I was incredibly impressed with this album. Around the fur, or whatever it was called, kind of lost me.

I liked Adrenaline and Around The Fur quite a lot, but they don't hold up very well for me. White Pony does, though. That album was a big part of my halcyon single days living in the UK, so that may play a role. But I do love that album.

I dug Chino's side project, Team Sleep, too.

Im a big pussy, who always gets the feels for songs. But I think White Pony is a genuinely good album, that stands the test of time. Around the Fur, I listened to a few times, and just went back to White Pony. Adrenaline, I think I heard a couple times in passing, but never really sat down to take it in.

Around the Fur and Adrenaline are a little too much of that late-nineties agro-metal that doesn't hold up all that well for me. White Pony was much more melodic and just had really good songs. Plus, I'm a Maynard fan-boy so him being on the record cinches it for me.

If you haven't yet, check out Team Sleep. It's experimental...kinda dream pop almost. It's a great fit for Chino's voice...which I think is really underrated. They only made one record like a decade ago, but I still throw it in when I'm in a "chill" mood.

My man! From time to time, I get made fun of for being an adult who wears band T-Shirts. I think its the delineation between being a cool adult, and a choad.

I have a few that I have in regular rotation. My Floyd Dark Side of the Moon tee shirt is one of my favorite shirts and is all over our candid family photos. That and a decade old Beatles tee that I always wear around the house. :snicker:

Concert shirts, and old White Sox shirts, are about 85% of my wardrobe (the other 15% being plaid, Simpsons shirts, and the occasional Blackhawks/Bears jersey)

    Im 12, by the way

Fuck the world.. I still wear band shirts. Mostly Slayer ones but I have others.
Who gives a fuck who doesn't think it's cool!

I do like to beat up guys wearing Phish shirts though.
