I lost almost all of my blood after the birth of my first son and none of the hospital staff caught it. They sent me home early because he was born on a holiday and I pulled an Elvis and died, naked on the toilet. It was really, really bad.
God doesn't like everybody
Now I've got the sads
oh so glad u made it thru. and ur son is healthy and thriving
severed tendon on the top of my foot. needed surgery, cast/crutches for 2
I almost feel guilty posting about a compound open fracture after the other shit but it was a pretty gnarly wound in it's own right.
my surgeon was named dr angel and he told my parents that angels were looking over his shoulder when he did surgery on me..turned out he lived down the street from my parents at the time
It's ok. Honestly, dying is a really bizarre experience because you slowly loose each of your five senses and try to fight it but can't. Everything really does seem to move in slow motion, especially falling off the toilet.
an open fracture puts it in the pantheon of gruesome, welcome to the club troop
I fell off a high dive in 1976 and hit the pavement.
3 days of coma then woke up with partial blindness in my left eye.
Sometime life sucks.
