I remembered watching it during the original run when I was a kid and thinking it was hilarious. Markie Post is such a piece of ass and Laroquette I thought was hilarious. Saw an episode recently and it was pretty gay. Granted it was a later season, but I was not amused. Of course I enjoyed Diffrent Strokes too when I was a kid so maybe my judgement is for shit.

Not really. I did watch a lot of them. I guess you watch whatever shit they put on TV at certain ages.

It was good. Good ensemble, like Barney Miller. But yeah, our memories are kinder than reality sometimes.

I loved that show as a kid. I've caught a random episode here and there, and they're very hit and miss.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the show when it was on and I also caught a few episodes recently and now I remember why.

Same with Murphy Brown and a lot of the mid-80's sit-coms.

They were just not that good as far as I'm concerned.

Not a laugh out loud show for me but was still enjoyable. Plus it was on that Thursday night NBC block that was great.

just like most sitcoms the first couple of seasons were good and then it went to shit when they ran out of storylines.

I'm afraid to Google what she looks like now... She was so hot I'd hate to lose that image of her.

John Larroquette (Dan) was the best part of that show.

The show definitely benefitted from being part of NBC's Thursday night lineup (Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court)
