I know there's been speculation on here that they had some sort of falling out. Has anyone heard any rumors? I haven't seen them together in any way in years. I noticed yesterday that artie tweeted a bunch of messages directed at norm, but I didn't see any replies or likes from norm. It seems like baby gorilla burned a bridge there.

Norm's busy dealing with the dead guy that was found in his house. I suspect twitter is not a priority.

Actually he's on Twitter a lot. I've seen at least 10 tweets since artie tweeted him yesterday.

Maybe Norm is fed up with Artie's lying using ways.

He wasn't on his direct tv show ever during its 3 year run and hasn't been on his podcast which is coming up on 2 years now. And Artie hasn't been on any of his podcasts when Norm was doing those. I saw a tweet recently from Artie complimenting Norm and then saying something to the effect of "I know Norm won't respond to this, but..."

I just saw Norm on Thursday night in DC and he didn't say anything negative about Artie. And during the Q&A anytime Artie's name was brought up there was nothing uncomplmentary said.

It was all about Norm's book but nothing negative about Artie.

Norm banished Artie to the phantom zone years ago same way howard did

Dennis Miller is a bigger star than Norm and has no connection Artie yet he's been on Artiequitter

    I think that th
My thought is that they've moved on since they don't do much together and they live on opposite coasts.

It's more than that. All these guys have excommunicated Artie

Even showbiz nobodies like Geno Bisconte and Bochetti ran away

It sure seems like they had a falling out. Norm clearly wants nothing to do with Artie.

Also, I think it's kind of weird Spade never did The Nick & Artie Show, Artie's solo show on Direct TV, or his podcast. It's as if Howard claimed him in the divorce.

Yeah, I doubt distance has anything to do with it. Wasn't norm in NY last week?
I'd love to know what artie did. I bet there's more to it than artie being a junky. Maybe he took sterns side in the bro fight.

I love these speculations bc they always seem to ignore that Artie swigging bleach and stabbing his own gut 58 times then immediately returning to comedy might alienate certain personality types

"I'm racking my brain... has Artie done anything odd or off-putting in the past 6 yrs or so???.... :bigthink ... It's like bros don't wanna hang out  "

When you are young, crazy and self-destructive behavior can be amusing or even attractive. Fast-forward 150 lbs and 15 years plus and it starts to become more recognizable as self-destructive and pathetic.

And Artie just looks so frikkin' horrible these days that even looking at him is a constant reminder of what he has done to himself and just how irredeemable he is. The dude has burned one bridge after another. Everybody is done waiting for him to get his shit together.

Adam Eget does a terrific job in the protege/sidekick/punching bag role. Especially the latter
