Ian mcshane's character Al , was/is the baddest charter on tv .
One of the greatest TV shows ever written.
I loved it.
Howard probably never watched it, it was too smartly written for him to understand.
He would've needed an interpreter.
Do we care?
No time for Deadwood when you're in bed jerking off maniacally whenever the bachelor takes his shirt off.
the whole getting cancelled in the middle of a major unresolved storyline mid-series is a bit of a bummer. loved it while it lasted

Yeah, there were rumors for years that they were trying to make two movies to tie it up. It never happened, obviously.
The show apparently was extraordinarily expensive to produce and didn't bring enough of a return.
I really miss that show..
That's what keeps me from watching it. I'm sure I will at some point, but I hate knowing that's coming.
He was busy jacking off to One Tree Hill when that show was on.
One time before I gave up in disgust I remember him saying: "Me and my wife spread out the tabloids and giggle over them with some beautiful wine, it's our thing."
I would like Calamity Jane to kick in his door, boot Beefus in the snatch and bitchslap Howard into a pile of kittens.
yeah, it is a tough series to recommend because of it. on one hand you want to recommend it because its a great hbo western style show with great characters and story and writing, but on the otherhand, why suggest to someone to watch 30+ hour long episodes of a series that ends in the middle with not a whole lot of resolution to anything. in fact that last few minutes of the last episode is pure blue-balls. if you like timothy olyphant's character in it, you will like "justified" - he is great in that and plays a similar character
