It is so easy to make money in America.
A buddy of mine was a huge stern fan but never made the move over to sirius... He thought i was a moron for buying all the sirius radio gear and paying a monthly fee.. now i am pissed for buying into howies bait and switch.... Fucker...
This morning on Mammary Lane, I heard the bit where he sold it to a girl from Memphis who called in. That was pretty funny! Ah, I remember those days!
I can't believe I bought a lifetime sub
To defend myself a little, I've probably broke even by now , bit I look back and I can't believe how I fell for the hype. I actually believed he was going to go on a nationwide tour to promote Sirius
He's a hell of a salesman, bro.
I bought some ocean front property in Arizona from Howard.
He used to be a helluva salesman. Oh he's still out there trying to sell shit, now it's political opinion, but his acumen is gone.
He tries harder than bababaloney to ignore the shit he did in the past in the vain hopes that people are stupid enough to call those that actually won't fall for his shit again "haters" or otherwise change the subject.
Billy Mays got nothing on Howard!
I'm still saving up to buy Butt Bongo Fiesta. It's a once in a lifetime event and will be a collectors item worth alot of money in the future. What....you guys saying Howard doesn't deliver what he promises?
What I don't understand is why people continue to pay for THSS. When Artie left it was already on the decline, and definitely got far worse during 2010. By the beginning of 2011, anybody with any sense should have known that the show was just not worth paying for anymore.
What's that saying, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me."
Nah he didn't sell us anything like The Brooklyn Bridge.
The Brooklyn Bridge still works...
It must be about 20 years ago, Howard took a call from a guy who said that he was an amateur boxer. Howard went on to berate him unmerciful, as he concluded that there was nothing dumber in this world than getting beaten up for free. "Ok, so you wake up, you throw yourself down the stairs..................then what?".
The people who continue to pay for the Howard Stern show must all be amateur boxers.
