did in Demand fire howard or did howard refuse to take less money?

Since I don't listen anymore did the wig bother to explain how the HTV canceling went down?

spoke about it for about 5 seconds and said he was going in a different direction. The new HTV was in the works.

Richie Wilson said on twitter everyone laid off were looking for new jobs (in other words, no new HTV)

First of all, like on most topics, I don't know jack shit.

But if I had to guess, I think On Demand simply provided the platform for the service and was reimbursed by a percentage of any revenue subscriptions to HTV brought in (kinda like a royalty). I don't think they were in a position to fire Howard as Howard didn't work for them, other than providing content. There were no real costs for In Demand, so they didn't care if Howard TV succeeded or failed. I just think there weren't enough subscribers to cover the costs that Howard's company had to pay (Goodstein, DePace, etc etc) and he finally pulled the plug.

I am shocked it survived this long then. . I paid for one month when htv first started when I still liked Howard it was the laziest pile of shit I had ever seen. .

Now that it is gone shouldn't all those fake callers that howard use to talk to daily be jamming his phone lines upset that htv is now gone?

The behind the scenes with Wendy the Retard was disturbing. She's 300 pounds now and toothless (and a lazy eye)

My guess is InDemand was not impressed whatsoever with the programming such as covering Lisa G's book signing or cookie party.

Absolute steaming pile of shit. :shit:

If HTV guys did one thing right it was show the "crowd" at Lisa G's book signing, fucking hilarious.

With fewer and fewer new HS shows and SiriusXM's ban on soft porn shit like the sybian, HTV was getting more expensive to keep on the air because they had to produce more original content rather than have it handed to them via radio. That and the general fall off in interest in Stern most likely made it unprofitable. I'd guess this has been in the works for a while, all efforts to keep HTV off of YouTube seemed to have stopped about a year ago.

I wonder if the "Beth & Howard Ostrosky Kitten Extravaganza" had anything to do with the canceling?

Ditto. I thunk Howard's been losing money on this dog for a long, long time.
