Could be. I thought of this when howard said Simon might be replacing him.
But I think Howard's probably had enought of the show anyway. He always looks miserable there

He knew he was getting the boot and is trying to make it look like it was his decision.

I think Simon was worried that anyone with a wig like that on a family show would scare children .

He had enough of literally the easiest job in the world, making $15M per season? Yeah, sure he did.

Buchwaldo & Co. planted story at it's fakest... :coffee:

"The most listened to broadcaster at SiriusXM (and really, in all of radio)..."

    "...hit NBC show"

"In Howard's typical fashion, he made the announcement on his hit morning talk show with Sirius XM, another company the media giant may soon part ways."

"Later, Stern would hint that he has another creative project in the works, delighting fans of the shock jock."

You don't know how much he was making and when you have ridiculous money it's all relative .

I don't know what he made, true. It was still the easiest job of all time and I think he and his wife loved being on TV. No way in the world he left on his own terms.

    Maybe..
But it did keep him out late, and he HATES to be out late.
I DO think he was asked to leave so it's all kind of a moot point

He looks miserable everywhere: are you sure it was because of AGT?

Exactly. I would add this laughable line to your list.

"Of course, Stern's words weren't enough for conspiracy theorists who believe that Simon Cowell forced Howard off the show, despite Stern being a huge ratings draw."

Exactly. Another obscure website (just like EmptyLighthouse.com) that always reprints the puff pieces they get from Howard's PR machine.

@puncher consistently showed that 25 percent of the audience left and hasn't returned. He has repeatedly, and exhaustively demonstrated, that the show set and repeatedly BROKE all time lows in 18-49 demo and total viewers.

"Huge ratings draw" that got heckled and hounded off the show! What a load of BS, Buchwald scamming.

Checked Marksfriggin's Daily News, found many cases of classicalite.com reprinting Howard's bullshit.
