After making the fact that some employees chose to stay home during the storm the centerpiece of his show for 3 days, Howard completely clammed up this week. Other than one cowardly backhanded slap at HPM, Howard barely mentioned the subject or any of the people he was hardest on last week - Richard, Doug Goodstein, Scott the Engineer, etc. Little or no mention of it on the WUS or other shows either. Does this strike anyone else as strange? I'm wondering if someone filed a complaint with Human Resources because they were publicly berated for missing a day for a completely legitimate reason and Howard was ordered to stop.

it's a stupid theory, the employees need to sign a waiver basically agreeing to not cry about any berating/abuse that isn't physical.

It's not like Howard to completely drop something like that, he usually drags things out for weeks (long past the point when it ceased to be entertaining). If it wasn't HR, someone must have told him to cool it. It's possible that an employee thought he was damaging their chances for future job opportunities by suggesting they were lazy and disloyal and I doubt if he's allowed to do that under any circumstances.

More likely Don Buchwald explained to him how he was coming across as a complete DICK and was risking his ability to market him and his horse-faced wife to mainstream America.

I was surprised that High Pitch Mike missed out on a reaming, after his WUS rant about 'working for Sirius & not Howard'

That was disgusting. As if we needed further proof that Howard is a big wimp with no balls. No hunger, no fire+too much money=Bad Radio.

Some lawyers may have had a talk with Howard. The reason Indemand didn't want its HowardTV people in was because of liability. If a worker gets injured during transit to work = millions in damages.
BTW. Howard isn't the boss over one single person. He have no right to demand that they are in. Sirius XM pays their salaries. SiriusXM have to pay if someone gets injured. The only reason why they did the show was that Howard was lazy. Howard didn't want to switch day of the show. He could legally have done thursday or friday instead.
