CCR should have reunited. Maybe the best American band of the late 60's/early 70's, along with Three Dog Night

    A little bit of Trivia:

CCR never had a #1 song on the American charts, but had six songs that went to #2. Unusual

How jealous was his dad of his success? How jealous was the rest of the band of John? How jealous are Johns kids of their dad? We need to know!!!

I saw the first show John Fogerty did when he started to play old CCR songs again.

it was a Day on the Green at oakland coliseum in 89 i'd guess.

jerry garcia and Bob Weir were fogerty's backing band and they played everything.

    just amazing.

i believe the show was tracey Chapman, Los Lobos (maybe, Joe Satriani, John Fogerty and the Grateful Dead

Lots of bitterness between John and the rest of the band. John assumed control of the business end of the band and made some bad deals.

When CCR reformed in the 90's, without John, he dismissed the band. They asked him to play during one of the band's historical anniversaries and he said no.

Now John sees that there would be benefits to a reformed CCR, but the rest of the band told him to shove it. They are doing fine without him.

BTW, check out Fogerty's interview with Larry King on YouTube. Larry asks him about this and John's response is a whole lot of nothing.

That's what I was thinking...he should stick to interviewing the rock legends.

When is Barbara Streisand stopping by?

Damm, Howie just hits it out of the park with the legends.

Stern said today to Fogerty you had allot of number 2`s,and some number 1s. I knew he didn`t have a number 1,I guess John didn`t want to correct Stern again,he did correct him 3 or 4 times in the interview.
