no tornadoes here.
Are we still going to Cuba to be married slippy?
Did you book the tickets yet mister?
if they don't post in 3 months. yes you lost them.... to something.
from the face down. He wants it soooooooo bad like he posted in threads about how he wants to give it to you. I think there's potential there.
Perfect 84* beach day here......slight breeze.
But sadly,I gotta work
I was within 15 miles of one on Thursday. One of the techs brought in a picture he took of a 2x4 sticking through the side of a concrete block wall. One of the managers took pictures of a church. It was completely destroyed except, right in the middle of all of the rubble, the altar looked untouched. We had two tornado warnings here yesterday.
I was spared thankfully. I did help pull an elderly couple from the rubble receiving an injury myself. It didn't slow me down though as I splinted the mans broken leg and gave the woman my own jacket to keep warm. I found their dog several minutes late unconscious. I gave him mouth to snout and revived him. I don't think I'm a hero though, just the right thing to do. I'll be back later, I'm going to donate blood and pass out meals at the soup kitchen. I'll get my broken arm looked at later.
This is rather abnormal... it's not even "tornado season" yet.
Its all happening... 2012.
Thank god the dog is fine.
The areas here have asked people to stay away and they don't need any more help. Supposedly, you can't walk half a block without someone trying to give you a bottle of water or a sandwich. I guess it's good that so many people are trying to help. My hotel is full of people that are there for the damage. Insurance adjusters, Electrical workers, a church group, not sure what else.
Poor guy had a hurt paw. I carried him 17 miles to the nearest vet. Great Danes are pretty big but I had the adrenaline pumping. It was better once I pushed the bone back under my skin.
I hope Blairg didn't lose any beer
I have to get a passport.
