Did you like High School?
Didn't despise going, but felt by senior year everyone should have been mature enough to treat each other with respect. I was glad to be done when it was over. There were a bunch of assholes(mostly the jocks) that I couldn't wait till they had to leave their comfy confines of the small school hierarchy and go out into the real world and not have the power they had in H.S. I'm not on Facebook, and have never gone to any of my reunions(last one was the 25th)and don't plan on it. I would love to go and be a fly on the wall, just to see what people look like and see how good or bad their lives turned out, but I feel that's not the reason to go to one of those. I still talk to the maybe 5-6 people I consider friends from my class, and that's good enough.
On another side note I always wish you could talk to kids that hate high school, that in life it's such a minuscule thing, that college life is so much more enjoyable and fun, to not give two fucks what your classmates think, get through it, and you won't have to deal with any of those retards the rest of your life. But it's hard to convince kids of that when school and their classmates are such a big part of their daily life.
Senior year of high school was the best year of my life. That was 16 years ago.....
Freshmen and Sophomore years were just OK. Junior and Senior years were great. Look back fondly, but overall hated school and most of the people at school.
Have only 3 friends from high school that I still talk to.
Looking back, probably could have boned more chicks.
Enjoyed college a lot more. Had more control over what I studied. Studied with some brilliant professors and students. Learned more. Got laid more. Made money. And it set me up for good things.
HS teachers just sucked. HS was all about just getting into college (raves, good grades for easy classes, just spouting back bullshit that teachers wanted to hear to get good grades) and not learning how to think critically.
Plus he commute and life style in college was better.
And I banged a ton more broads.
It sucked, the partying was bad ass
But school pretty much blew
It was ok. I didn't have any hot bangable teachers.
Loved every second of it.
Nope. I was expelled twice, but I still graduated on time and I even went to college. Couldn't get away with that today.
I bet I would've beaten the shit out of you in school. You would've been my bitch.
I hated HS but loved college. If I became a bagillionaire id prob stay in college forever.
I've made this same thread at least 42 Times on like 72 Stern related chat boards.
It mostly ended with me having to live through the horror of my high school years each time.
I was not a big deal in High school.
You also would've been my bitch. Kneel before me, little bitch #2!
There is no way I can disagree. You are way more manly than I.
I weighed 87 pounds as a sophomore in high school.
The wrestling coach used to hound me into joining the team, cause there was no one in my weight class at any of the other schools and it was an automatic win.
I didn't join, cause any form of wrestling is gay.
I had a job and a work roster, I was out of school everyday by 11:30. With a little money in my pocket the world was my oyster. The high school years were great, it was the period of time I did the most learning about people and life. College years were good, but didn't posses the whole everything is new feeling.
Shut the fuck up or I'm going to make you eat dog shit, bitch #2.
I seem scared now.
Jocks vs Nerds
Now I'm actually starting to miss the high school years.
