I had an aunt who used to scare me with mushrooms . I was scared dead of them as a kid. I read the Barbar the elephant book where the old elephant ate poison mushrooms and died . That scared the shit out of me . My aunt used to bring them over and scare me with them as a little kid. I got her back by almost giving her a heart attack with a rubber snake and that was the end of her scaring me . She almost pissed her pants and couldn't stop crying . That will teach her .

Did anyone ever scare you with shit as a kid ?

I used to also hate having to kiss my old 80 something great aunts as a kid . There were three of them and one looked like Davros no BS . I was scared of them too as a little kid .

My father purchased a 'devil doll' while traveling in Germany for my brother. It terrified him. He kept throwing the doll out and my father kept clandestinely taking it out of the garbage.
He would lay the doll on my brother's pillow at night when he slept...and my poor brother would wake up screaming.
Finally, my brother buried the doll and never told anyone where it was laid to rest.

That's very funny. Great emotional child abuse story.

My uncle had a rubber toy I was scared of when I was like 3 . I called it the gooey man . He would hang it on the door to his room to keep me out. One day I had enough and took to gooey man and tossed him in these big steel drums my father used to burn trash is back in 1969 when you could still burn shit.
After a few days I wanted it back and told my parents . At that point the gooey man was burned up . I was scared shit of the thing but on some level I liked it .

Being a member of Larry inc. I fear nothing. @LawyerLarry as kiLLed so many men who crossed him around me I am use to death. @ClintDagger fears bad weather because it interrupts his golfing. @tradioguy69 is starting to fear the fact that him and @MrPPV have completely conquered the world of underground pit fighting and street racing respectively and they have no challenges left. @ShutUpSitDown hates the homeless and stupid and he fears for all you that won't listen to his words of wisdom. @EDDIEVRULZ fears the fact he may single handedly run miLLer light out of beer.
And you people better start fearing the fact that it almost Larry New Years.

Sure, my stepdad fucked with me whenever he had the opportunity. That stopped when I threw him down the stairs and beat his ass when I was 17.

In Danvers mass. There is a mall called Liberty Tree mall . In the 70s it had a giant silver metal tree in the middle I called the dead tree. I remember crying over the giant dead tree as we walked by the thing . Before the mall was built the tree was out in the empty lot . I would ask my parents to go see it then cry when I got anywhere near it . I was a fucked up kid .

I found a photo of the tree

My parents scared me out of ever wanting to be a smoker. It worked. I hate cigarettes and smoking in general.

Serious question....Did your mom used to read The Giving Tree to you when you were little? My first thought when I saw this was that book. It's one of my favorites, but it makes me SO sad... :(
