Woman sets up GoFundMe page to try and get back money she spent on Powerball lottery tickets

A woman from Tennessee who felt hard-done-by the Powerball Lottery after only winning four dollars on Wednesdays draw has set up a GoFundMe page in an attempt to recoup some of her losses.
Cinnamon Nicole from the town of Cordova managed to raise a little more than $800 in seven hours before officials at the crowdfunding website pulled her page.
Nicole claimed to have spent all of her money on purchasing tickets with the assumption she would win the $1.6 billion jackpot, but soon realized the winning tickets were sold in Los Angeles, Florida and Tennessee suburbs.

If I had a bit of money: Despite the chances of anyone winning the jackpot being 1 in 292.2 million, Nicole claims she still decided to go big
'Please help me and my family as we have exhausted all of our funds. We spent all of our money on lottery tickets (expecting to win the 1.5 billion) and are now in dire need of cash,' she wrote on the charity webpage.
'With your small donation of at least $1.00, a like and one share, I'm certain that we will be able to pick ourselves up from the trenches of this lost and spend another fortune trying to hit it big again! PLEASE, won't you help a family in need. DONATE NOW.'
Her pleas were not welcomed warmly online: 'An idiot thinking spending all her money on lottery tickets guarantees a big win. Or a cheat if she set up the GoFundMe page in a scheme to get money with a sad story that wasn't actually true,' wrote one commenter.

Unlucky: The brazen crowdsourcing effort managed to pull in hundreds of dollars before GoFundMe shut it down
'You spent your money on powerball tickets. You knew the odds of winning. They were miniscule. You'd have a better chance of firing a bullet into the air in a random direction and killing a duck. You could have gone to Vegas and had better odds of winning something,' said another.
The brazen crowdsourcing effort managed to pull in hundreds of dollars before GoFundMe shut it down.
'The campaign in question was removed for a violation of GoFundMe's Terms & Conditions,' GoFundMe Media Director Kelsea Little told PIX11 in a statement.
Although the webpage has been removed, Nicole now claims on her own Facebook page that the entire thing was nothing more than a silly prank designed to provoke a reaction.
'People are so quick to judge without knowing or even considering anything other than their point of view. But this ain't no serious post...' she wrote on her profile.

Stupid enough to blow the rent on Powerball, I'd tell her I was a Hollywood producer...
