A photo of Bobbi Kristina's body, lying in her casket, has been sold to a media outlet ... and TMZ has learned the bidding soared into the six figures.
According to our sources, someone snapped a pic of BK during the viewing, which took place the day before the funeral. We're told the winning offer topped the $100,000 mark.

Our sources say members of the Brown and Houston families are blaming each other for the pic, which was snapped despite all the precautionary measures.

As TMZ first reported, the Browns were worried the Houstons might pull this stunt, since it happened at Whitney Houston's funeral in 2012.

That family would sell her body parts if they could make a buck off them.

I'm Jewish and as a result I'm happy to say as a result I've never looked at an open casket. I honestly can't comprehend why it's a tradition for many families, are you doing it to confirm they haven't faked their death? Wanting to see them one more time?

Fuck that shit when I go throw me in the box and put me in the ground. I've never seen a dead body in real life and I don't want to start. The couple times I've gone to a gentile wedding I've refused to go up and look at the deceased.

Its vey creepy. My parents made my sister and I go to my grandmothers wake when I was seven. It was weird. She was wearing a pink dress they bought specifically for her to wear in casket.o_O

I dread these wakes. Everybody is embalmed. Weirdos say 'It looks like they're sleeping'. Fire me up…No gawking at me when I croak..

I've seen a lot of black families take a casket shot. Even a casket body selfie. Not that unusual. Except nobody ever gets six figures for doing so.

The family were all together when this poor kid was in a coma. Where were they when she really needed them? They are scum. I just can't imagine doing such a vile thing..

I hate going to funeral homes. When I die, cremate me and spread my ashes somewhere nice.

We used the term "groom" instead of "deceased" at our gentile weddings.

Geez, where is Cygnus to correct everyone.

The "viewing" takes place at a funeral parlor. The "wake" is the gathering of loved ones to mull around at a house or restaurant.

I've seen movies where they place the dead person in the middle of the wake, but I think that's made up.

I happened to see this trash-fest of a funeral on TV yesterday.

Women with their heads a-bobbin', talking smack about each other to the TV cameras...:ohno:

    Made me sick.

Not where I'm from. The wake is a day or 2 days before the funeral at the funeral home. :dontknow:

The mercy meal is the gathering at the restaurant.
