Employees who set the player stats and prices have won hundreds of thousands betting on the sites.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/06/sports/fanduel-draftkings-fantasy-employees-bet-rivals.html

A major scandal is erupting in the multibillion-dollar industry of fantasy sports, the online and unregulated business in which players assemble their fantasy teams with real athletes. On Monday, the two major fantasy companies were forced to release statements defending their businesses’ integrity after what amounted to allegations of insider trading, that employees were placing bets using information not generally available to the public.

The statements were released after an employee at DraftKings, one of the two major companies, admitted last week to inadvertently releasing data before the start of the third week of N.F.L. games. The employee, a midlevel content manager, won $350,000 at a rival site, FanDuel, that same week.

The NFL and broadcast networks seem fully in bed with them. Lots of money behind it.

I can't wait until these businesses crash and burn. The NFL sanctions this shit, too - but won't let players appear at casinos for events. :jj:

I did find it so strange for years and years the NFL did everything it could to NEVER EVER talk about gambling. They never discussed the line or wagering in any way shape or form.
Then with the advent of the one day fantasy football companies suddenly they're "going to Jim Brown in the DraftKings Bus..."

if you know anything about football, you won't win the millions but you will at the least break even every week. i win $20-100 just about every week and only wager a few bucks

I saw a commercial for fan duel on Sunday.

Some white dude sitting next to a black broad said he invested only $35 in to fan duel
and has won more than $2.1 million to date.

I could smell bullshit all the way from behind my computer.
