Or is that bullshit?
In like 20 years without gov/state rebates. You also need to check what size your gas line is coming into your house, a standard residential line is 1/2" and a lot of the tankless need a 3/4". The biggest pro is space saving IMHO.
i hvae tankless without the water reservior, its sucks, it takes like 5 minutes to get hot water, i gotta get a reservoir now
which defeats the purpose of having a tankless water heater since i gotta get a tank
please stop posting
This is pretty much right.
I get them spec'd in a lot of projects and they are always one of the first things to go when the developer needs to make budget
I'm starting to like this feud.
I really don't see them ever paying for themselves when you factor in all the maintenance and repair costs that a typical water heater doesn't usually need. I know a lot of plumbers that are making a killing selling them to their customers, but I always try to talk my customers out of them because going tankless is not in their best interests. "I don't mind spending your money, but I don't want to waste it. "
Get ready for the government to make this decision for you though thanks to NAECA.
it takes like 5 minutes to fire up the unit or it takes like 5 minutes to get the hot water from your unit to the faucet?
He doesn't know, he doesn't even change the mayo.
I have one here in Ukraine but it is the standard for apartment living here.
heat pump water heater. 3 to 4 year payback.
My shitty USA standard water heater shit the bed 2 years ago...I flushed all the calcium rocks out, replaced both heater elements and said fuck off to the cunts who wanted 1k+ to replace what did not need replacement.
Cost me aboot $30 and two hours of fuck off time.
and a 1.75 of Stalingrad
Yer a riot...
