McDonald's restaurants are found in 118 countries and territories around the world and serve 68 million customers each day. McDonald's operates over 35,000 restaurants worldwide.

BURGER KINGĀ® system operates approximately 12,000 restaurants in all 50 states and in 73 countries and U.S. territories worldwide. They serve 11 million people a day.

Subway is one of the fastest growing franchises in the world with approximately 33,679 restaurants in 93 countries. They serve about 60 million people a day.

KFC has over 30,000 restaurants worldwide, serving more than 12 million customers a day.

Doesn't include....Taco Bell, Wendy's, Hardees, Chick-Fil-A, Arbys, Chipolte, Quiznos, Popeye's, White Castle, etc, etc, etc, who serves millions a day.

*Does not include deli's, meat markets, supermarkets, small restaurants, etc.

All $1 burgers/chicken deals, etc. How the hell are you using anything that is not less than 50% real beef or chicken, etc?? :snicker:

Well that and you have to deal with the people serving you at these places today....:c

I'm sure some percentage of fast food burgers is meat, but since it's ground up, it's abstracted and so there's obviously an incentive to bulk source the lowest grade as cheaply as possible and cut it with fillers and scrap pieces off the floor. They then compensate and conceal it by salting the fuck out of it and slathering it in thousand island and what have you.

Chipotle doesn't appear to be too bad in terms of the meat not being a total freakshow.

Yes. Of course it's meat. Contaminated with poison, but meat it is.

They did admit to genetically engineered ingredients. They have since "stopped. I mean yeah, some % of it is real, I agree, but most all of it is fillers, chemicals, and other cheap taboo meat. No way these places could feed billions a day with real meat.

At least Subway admits to their BS on their menu...

"All of the meats at Subway are actually turkey. The menu says that it contains turkey, bologna, and ham. But, if you read the fine print (and if you check the website) you will find that it actually contains turkey, turkey-bologna, and turkey-ham! You are probably asking yourself, what is turkey-ham? The answer: It's chemical created turkey so they can meet worldwide demand."

I certainly don't think its pure meat, there is probably a fuck ton of filler in there. Also they use the shittiest meat and a ton of fat so their margins are ridiculous.

Well somewhere around 5000 animals are killed in slaughterhouses each SECOND around the world. My guess would be one of these places;) Don't get me wrong. There's def fillers. But I doubt they're using soy?

Well someone has to show me enough cows, chickens etc, to serve a billion fast food burgers and chicken sandwiches a day. Not including supermarkets, Deli's, restaurants, etc.

*According to McDonald's, the chain sells 75 burgers every single second of every minute of every hour of every single day.

No, the final product is hardly meat. The product's got shit pumped into it. And the animal had shit pumped into it before that. And one of the teenagers' pimples probably exploded onto it during preparation.

I'll trust them to mix a cup of ice cream with cookies though, or a coffee.

Real doesn't mean quality. Real meat is a loose term. Mix that not so great meat with cereal fillers, soy, and a ton of seasoning and you get something like meat but it's hardly identifiable.

30 years ago, my first job was at Taco John's. We only used ground round instead of hamburger. But, the seasoning packet that went into the meat was big even for a 20 lb package of beef and it contained fillers that would soak up liquid and add maybe 10% to the size. Funny thing is I can't remember us having chicken. I don't think we did. Our sour cream was the real deal. So was the block of cheddar cheese that we had to shred. We also made the retried beans from scratch. The deep fryer used vegetable shortening. It was like molasses at room temperature.
