I'm not a veterinarian but I believe I've helped a couple pay off their college loans 2 or 3 times over.

Vet in semi-immediate family. Retired. At 49.

Most tape worm shit you get otc is bullshit; you need to go to like a livestock/feed/country type store for the real shit.

But I'll ask and update. Fucker.

You know, people are still alive today who were treated as kids for tapeworms by fasting the kids NPO for 2-3 days, then holding sugar cubes or other food outside the kid's open mouth. As the worms crawled-up and out the mouths to get the food, you would snatch them with a pair of hemostats! True story!

It's harder to get into veterinarian school than medical school! Many of your doctors are failed veterinarians!

They are fucking assholes.... I am pretty pissed they didnt pick up on this but the woman who just answered the phone said it wouldnt show up in a fecal test.

The red fucking flag should have been it costing $350 to JUST fix her... I looked at the line by line and they charged me 10 bucks for a collar, 20 bucks for a cone, ect ect.... brought her to my local shelter and it was free AND they found the worms

i've dropped every animal i ever had off at the shelter to get fixed. about 60-70 bucks including all shots. thats the last time they ever see a vet or shots. no problems. the local vet rapes my mother in law on a monthly basis. we tried helping her but she dont care & i certainly dont.

We do petco for shots (saves every vet visit and it was cheap) and the fixing was free at the shelter (it went by area codes).... cat is indoors 100% so I was just getting her shots so I could get her fixed. They take advantage of you IMO for having an indoor cat and requiring a ton of vaccinations. If mine ever got out they would get hit by a car before they got any communicable disease.

The first cat was a shelter cat, so he came fully immunized/chipped and with shots for 100 bucks. The one I got now to keep him company was from a litter of abandoned kittens so had to do everything separate which was more.
