people going nuts because Tyson mistreats their pigs. who gives a shit, right?
They could be a lot more humane. No need for them to suffer, live in cramped quarters, etc.
I get grossed out by regular supermarket meat after I bought this chicken at Fry's that was so pumped up with "broth" that it exploded the little absorbent meat diaper under the meat. I buy my meat at Sprouts now for the most part. I really don't think about prior to death treatment, though.
Depends if the mistreatment affects the way they taste.
Nothing humane about a goatcabin.
I dated a Filipino girl and her parents had a picture of a relative of theirs standing on a fence over a bull with a sledgehammer getting ready to rain down upon it's head. I never saw the aftermath but it was in a slaughterhouse of some sort.
I didn't eat meat that day.
I care a little.
At least she didn't make you eat balut. That's the half formed chicken embryo in an egg that a lot of the Fillipinos eat.
Tyson owns the slaughterhouses and processing plants, not the farms. Don't get the stink on the farmers.
when an animal is stressed it produces lactic acid that toughens the meat
