I see no reason to unless you or someone close to you has a compromised immune system.
No. It's a scam by the drug companies. Ive had the flu once in my life.
Not against it but think overall we should suck it up
I get it now. After having the flu a couple years ago, I was so drained and my productivity suffered for about a month after I got over the flu itself. I just don't want that kind of down time again.
It's been proven it does more damage then good and even increases the chance of severe birth defects in women by 300% if they are more then 5 months pregnant but was billed as a way to increase immunity to the flue in expectant mothers babies.
Sounds like the work of the devil to me. I only take pills for they're intended purposes to get us high enough to forget we are sick.
I rarely get super sick but 2 years ago I was knocked the f*** out, bedridden for 2 or 3 days.
No - I haven't had the flu in 20 years. Plus the shot is designed to protect against flu strains which are expected in the upcoming season, which may or may not be the correct ones.
Yes and everyone should. /thread.
I never got the shot until I got sick - turned me right around on the subject
I have a service for the flu.
Yes. I've been getting the shot for the last 5 years, and no flu. The side effects: a sore arm for about 24 hrs, and sometimes feeling minor cold symptoms for a day.
Compared to the flu, which can keep you in bed for a week, not bad.
oh yeah, I did grow a second head one year but that that nipped off.
My Mum got the flu shot 3 years in a row. Had the flu every one of those years. "different strain"
People think the flu is like a bad cold. It's NOT, especially nowadays. If you got ill and didn't feel like you wanted to shoot yourself, chances are you didn't have the flu. And if you haven't gotten it in "20 years" or whatever, you're lucky. But if you do, have fun. My husband who has missed like 5 days of work in over 20 yrs was ON HIS BACK for 4 days of them. I got it the same year and want to shoot myself. It's bad. And the shot is pretty effective. Not 100%, off course, but unless the nerds get it totally wrong ( and they usually don't ) it'll drastically reduce your chances of getting it. End lecture.
I feel sick after eating so much today
of course not
Do you take half a benedryl before getting the shot?
I went all out and took the whole thing. People are afraid of me
I feel a tickle in my throat.
