I like to buy candy when I'm waiting in line for check-out.
Yes occasionally I still rent from them.
I fear redbox is going to destroy everything.
it looks like you have a late fee for Wild Things...
They all closed around me. I don't even know where one is now.
they had some goo deals when they closed
Oh My Buddha!
I'm still not going to return it
The only one I've been to since I got Netflix a million years ago is in Mexico
they have a very convenient feature where you park your car and slide the tape in through a slot in the wall, even after hours.
Last time I went to a BB because a friend wanted to go they were out of what he wanted to see, so we went to a Redbox and they had it. Plus I saved like $3 on one movie. Now adays I download most movies and transfer them to DVD to watch at a friends house or just watch at home from my computer connected to a 42" TV.
how do you do the download/transfer to DVD thing without the sound and video quality turning to shit, you can't get 1080 blu-ray, right?
no- fucking HATE Blockbuster- I download everything except for what I actually purchase
you can... I don't do that, though.
I download DVD blu-ray movies then transfer it/them to a Sandisk USB flash drive that I run through my DVD player or my Western Digital Media Player.
If the movie is truly great, I'll buy it on Amazon or eBay.
That's the thing. Most people don't give a shit. I do, so I rent blu-rays. Plus, it's a pain in the ass to download and transfer to DVD. I don't much care for the streaming services either. I enjoy the clarity of both the sound and video that only a blu-ray can deliver.
What gwartney said.
they only have Red Box here outside of the CVS and RiteAid drugstores... they even closed the Blockbusters in midtown Manhattan
bankruptcy's a bitch when you've made your bones destroying mom & pop video shops -and bragging about how you did it and how perfect your business model is.
"Buy Deep"... like hell.
