...17 vintage sexist ads. enjoy.
I wish I knew what this meant.
...a variation of ut oh?
It's amazing - even then - that this made it through.
I don't beat her she's handy to have around!
And the one the ladies will love... (be a little gay!)
My house in MA was built in 1885. I pulled up an OLD carpet that had even older linoleum under it. After I pealed that back I found a shitload of 1920's newspapers they had laid down between the wide pine floor and the linoleum. I spent hours reading them. It was such a trip seeing all those old ads and stories from then.
...thats cool vash i love old stuff like that.
real men don't need to beat their wives. they have poisonous mushrooms.
we're not savages
I also found a shit load of vanilla bottles stuffed between a wall in the cellar. The old guy was an alchie during prohibition hehehe. Found a couple old tins of tobacco as well.
...i never beat her, always ate her plain.
It's very interesting to look in the Classifieds.
House for rent. White only.
Help needed. NO IRISH.
LOL you ain't kid'n man, lotta black faced ads too. Racism was loud and proud back then.
And those newspapers kept the linoleum from squeaking when you walked on it. My grandma's old house? Nobody was gonna sneak around in that house. Kinda sounded like a loud squeaky leather shoe.
Many years ago in Tulsa they were doing urban renewal in what was once called Black Wall Street. It was a very well to do area for blacks.
It was burned down in the largest race riot in US history. Turns out a black man on an elevator stepped on a white woman's foot and she'd claimed he's raped/molested her. When the shit started, and it was fucking carnage. She left town.
They still don't know how many were killed, because the records were pretty much destroyed. Some of the really old black people have recently come to speak about it.. (There are videos on youtube) You look up old newspapers at the library? And you'll find nothing. The articles were removed from the archives decades ago.
If you google June 21, 1921 Tulsa and it will shock you.
If you're reading my previous post. Refresh and read again because I fucked it ALL up!
The correct answer is, "Not if she fuckin' listens!"
and why not add these two classics
