I realized that I hardly ever use cash. I use my credit card for almost everything, pay it off each month, and use the points towards cash to pay it when I have enough.

I use cash at the farmers market and at my hairdressers since he doesn't take credit cards and takes too long to cash checks. I think thats about it.

    You?

Anyway, to answer the question, I pretty much do the same. Except I like to keep a $100 bill stashed deep in my wallet for emergencies that may come up unexpected. And I use my points to buy things, hardly ever put them towards my balance. And the only balance I keep are on my special rate cards, I still have two that are zero percent until late 2014. :cheer:

That seems inconvenient, seeing as how a lot of places don't accept hundreds. Why not five 20's? :dontknow:

Cash not so much. I use my debit card a lot. I don't like to put anything on a credit card that isn't going to exist when the bill comes even though I pay my balance off each month.

Yes, if the item is under $10 I pay with cash. When I put gas in my car at $20 a clip I use cash also. Fast food I use cash too, I only use my debit car there 5 times a month because I have to use my debit card that much to get free checking. Otherwise credit or cash.

I use my credit cards everytime. It's like free money. Only negative is I get phone calls from 800 numbers quite often.

So it takes too long for a check to clear from the hair salon but to use them for paying bills, via mail, makes sense?

    Loopy gals :)
