And if so, what do you usually leave him?
I don't have this problem, as I only drive reliable cars.
You just put the curse on yourself.
Yup he's fucked
How about this:
you phone-order $50 worth of carry out from a decent sit-down restaurant. The bags w/ your food are ready @ the bar when you get there. Bartender stops what she's doing to ring you up.
do you give her a tip for handing you your bags and running the transaction?
If so, how much? Nowhere near the standard 20%, right?
I tipped the guy who came out an got my keys out of my locked car. It's been so long ago I don't remember how much. I haven't been towed other than that.
I hate those restaurants that include a tip line on carry out. If it's a place I go to regularly, I'll throw them 2 or 3 dollars. Never close to 20%. It depends on how I feel. I generally think that's kind of a ripoff and have never heard a good reason to tip.
do you tip delivery drivers if there's already a "Delivery Fee" charged on your receipt?
What does Mr Pink tip his tow truck driver?
