Do you tip the person who details your car?

    $80.00 to get the interior done. I pick up the car at 2:30. Should I tip and how much?

    do you tip the plumber? or the mechanic that replaces your timing belt?

    the car wash I go to has a tip box - I always throw a buck in.

    and I tip waitstaff very well. :D

    I think the diff is that the plumber and mechanic make good wages (especially the plumber). The dude that details my whip probably makes about $10 an hour if he's lucky. Might be different if they own their own shop or something.

    I tip anyone who does a good job. People who take pride in their work are fucking hard to find and if I think someone did a lil better than normal I always throw 'em at least 20%.

    Ive never had my car/vehicle detailed, if I knew specifically who did the job I would prob toss him 10 bills.
