This shit is going to haunt this team for years to come.

Wish i worked for someone who was willing to pay me that kind of money to go away.

Haha dodgers. That's why you don't construct a baseball team like you would a basketball team.

And the one guy they got rid of in that marble malaise was Matt Kemp, who can still play.

Actually i think it was James Loney who was the only big name the Dodgers gave up.

Kemp was traded to the Padres at a later date.

Yeah they got Grandal for him in a salary dump. Not a terrible haul or deal, but Kemp's clearly better than Puig or Ethier. Loney just turned up with the Mets, surprised he's reduced to journeyman status, 10 years ago I would have guessed he'd be a perennial batting title contender by now.

The Yankees can learn a thing or two from the Dodgers. The Yanks will pay a turd to hurt the team, ARod, till his contract ends instead of moving on witb new blood.

how much did the Yankees pay Ukalus to have back surgery on their dime? or Dingleberry to ground out between injuries?
the Yankees need to scorch earth. Especially up top.
They need a owner like Trump, one that will make us sick of winning.
    Make the Yankees great again.

I remember when Carl Crawford signed that huge free agent deal. I thought it was one of the dumbest signings ever. He didn't have great stats at Tampa Bay. I don't understand how he got that big of a deal out of Boston in the first place. I further don't understand why the Dodgers absolved Boston of $250M in bad contracts. The Dodgers are a stupid organization.

It's one of those good bye contracts. See it all the time here in Toronto
