I know in the car if you happen to catch the game you put it on. But does anybody go home, sit in their chair and turn the radio on to listen to the entire game? :dontknow:

I listen to NY Rangers hockey online. Or in my car with TuneIn or Sirius on my cell.

Might put on the radio broadcast of World Series game 6 while watching with the volume muted on the TV. I like hearing the Red Sox broadcasters calling the game as opposed to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver on FOX, and Wednesday night's game could be the clincher

Sometimes in the summer I'll listen to a baseball game while doing outdoor stuff. Baseball works well on the radio. Other sports not so much.

I can tinker with the pause button on the TV to match up with the radio if there's a delay, so yeah, I usually put Uecker on for the Brewers game.

if Buck and Aikman are doing a Packers game, I'll turn on Packers Radio Network.

as for JUST listening to the radio, I'll do it for baseball if I'm playing video games, sitting on the deck with people drinking/grilling, or mowing the lawn/yard work.

I used to listen to the Mets on WHN and WMCA when I was a kid. But the games were shorter then - they'd start at 8 pm and by 10:15 they were over. The games are much slower paced today. I don't have time to listen to a 3+ hour game every night.

I listen to it when I watch Bears games, turn the sound down on the TV. I'd rather listen to the hometown announcers.

Yes, but the TV is delayed, not the radio. How to match that up? I hear what happens 10 seconds before I see it. That doesn't work :(

I don't have cable/satellite, so I listen to Sprint Cup races on SiriusXM whilst woodworking. Does that count?

Bowling and golf announcers are less boring than the national baseball guys.
    Locals guys make it awesome.
