i still "listen" but i don't particularly enjoy the show. it's merely a hard to break habit.
I listen to see what he's gonna say next
too many great podcasts out there. I bet my mom would enjoy granny stern tho.
I listen to the show so I can understand the jokes here.
Howard+Dawgs Saloon commentary = funny
I listen online for about 25 minutes before leaving for work. I refuse to pay for it anymore though.
...you mean howard is still on the radio or you just enjoy listening to old edited tapes?
Buncha sterh haters.
Sure. It could use a little more sugar, but i like it.
i havent listened to 1 second of the show this decade.
im still a huge fan of the show, pre 08
I used to listen 24/7 to everything Howard but since the never ending commercials and reruns became the norm i pop in one a week or so but always bail when the first commercial starts then forget to come back.
Dawgs is way more fun.
A habit it is but I still enjoy being a Sterner.
Haven't listened in over a year. Too many commercials, too many vacations, too few live shows, and absolutely no humor
haven't listened in at least two years.
"radio is a habitual medium"
turns out he was 100% right when he said it.
I was starting to think that I was the only fan at Dawg but now I see that there are other fans of Stern here.
...what are you a fan of? the non stop commercials? the fleecing of his fans money? the agt talk? are you excited that wendy williams is coming on the show? shes amaaaazing.
I still catch most shows. If I miss them no big deal. I like the guts of the show, the middle, whether it's staff antics or an interview. When it's not solely based around Stern it's good stuff. I used to love the first hour when Howard ranted or talked about what he did, now that portion of the show just annoys me. And the last hour of the show where they bust balls and talk about the news is missing the third person, whether Artie or someone else.
The beginning and the end are not what they once were. That said I still love the guests. And to me the show is WAY better now versus a year ago when it was non-stop AGT promotion. That was an all time low for me. And it really bothered my how much Stern bashed Judd Apatow for simply voicing his opinion about it.
Too many commercials? Did you listen when he was on KROCK? That was neverending commercials.
