It was supposedly all clandestine, nobody else in the room. I don't remember Jackson's people ever acknowledging it. Given Howard's problem with perceiving reality, I never bought it.

That is, unless there was some slap and tickle going on.

The homo stuff about Michael was released after Michael said some "anti semitic stuff" about the jew. Just standard jew lies. Like the meeting. It never happened.

I've never believed it. Sounds like another of the many stories he's made up over the years to make himself seem way more important than he really is.

The one that always bumped me was Howard saying he would "make a party", doesn't sound like a native English speaker.

The Jackson thing was during the period when the show was pretty hot, even the likes of Julia Roberts were showing up then. I can believe he had a meeting with Jackson reps who were in serious damage control mode after the kid-touching stuff went public. Don't believe Howie was ever in a room with the guy himself.

Howard, while not as big as Michael, was pretty big back in those days. It doesn't seem out of the ordinary that they would meet about business.

That "having" thing really pisses me off as well. "Having" a Thanksgiving drives me up the wall. I know its been said on here many times, but when he says "pishing" instead of "pissing" or took a "pish" it makes me want to fly to New York and break all of his fingers. Has anyone out there heard anyone else ever use that term like that before?

What about when he says "I don't know from that." What the fuck does that even mean?

being polite, I don't know from that

Yeah I believe it. Obviously Howard lies a lot and exaggerates. But I don't think Howard would have put that in his book at the time unless at least some of it were true. I think had it been a lie there could have been legal action on MJ's part or at least statements denying it. I don't think Howard would make up the whole thing with a celeb as big as MJ.

Clarence Clemons made up some big long fucked up story about playing pool with Fidel Castro and put it in his book.

Who says Howchie wrote Private Parts anyway, Ratso Sloman wrote it.

Or: I've been doing that since I'm eight-years-old.

Howard is only a botched plastic surgery and 2-3 more slip-ups ("Precious", making the kid cry on AGT, Lena Dunham) away from being the Michael Jackson in that story.

He picked a celebrity who wouldn't bother confirming or denying it. Or someone that wouldn't give him the time of day - he was using the story as a way to prove his influence at the time. His movie made 41 million at the peak of his popularity.

I believe Howard had a meeting but he likely exaggerated the description to make himself look better.

Howard was THE coolest, edgiest, most bad-ass entertainer of the 1990s and anyone who was hip in showbiz wanted to be buddies with him so I can definately see Micheal Jackson requesting a meeting with him
