Im looking to get into investments.
Anything I should know? Tips?
So help me God if any of you fuckers tell me "buy low, sell high"
Stay away from individual stocks and buy index funds
It's rigged. If you're not an insider, ie a stockbroker doing microtrading, fuck it.
Mix it up with individual stocks and index funds.
Quasi-greed is good
Buy low, sell high
I've been in the market since age 6.
Yeah, the sex trades, homo.
Good god that was awful, TEDDY!
What's your portfolio look like Schmoop?
Do your homework, study your broker harder than the stocks he suggests. Check & see if he has any SEC claims of malfeasance. Ask what his REI ratio is for the last 5 years. Of course you'll want to know what his trade fees are and any maintenance fees. Depend on what level you are going in at will determine what level of Broker you're going to see. A small first time investor isn't going to be sitting down with a VP at Merrill Lynch. No matter, your broker should take the time to find out what your investing goals are before suggesting anything. Good Luck
I sold off my ENRON stock in late 1999.
Made a killing.
he said stock market not drug market
I saw that, Stink Eye!

i dont understand any of this but id probably give you my money if you asked for it
Stick to Fortune 500 companies. Don't look for short term gains
