I should, because hitting the ATM for $300 of pocket money once a month or using a credit card is outrageously difficult and complex.

What's the benefit? I googled them both, but I don't really see the upside to using them (other than you don't need your wallet).

I don't even know what it's about how you load money into it, or if Apple gets a portion like a credit card does.

Plus it would suck if you need to use it and you battery is dead.

Apple Pay uses Tokenization to 'secure' your Debit or Credit info on your phone. Per the Interwebs...

Tokenization is the process of replacing sensitive data with unique identification symbols that retain all the essential information about the data without compromising its security. Tokenization, which seeks to minimize the amount of data a business needs to keep on hand, has become a popular way for small and mid-sized businesses to bolster the security of credit card and e-commerce transactions while minimizing the cost and complexity of compliance with industry standards and government regulations.

Yes, Apple gets a % of each txn. Consumer gets the convenience. FI gets to be top of wallet = more spend.

More and more retailers are supporting NFC for financial txns, but there is still a ways to go due their resources being used to support EMV chip cards.

Fuck Apple Pay. I'm so tired of the way Apple is trying to take over the universe as if we're fucking left behind if we don't use their shit.

And please spare me the whole "well, it works" lecture. I hear that from so many Apple Fan Boys and Girls. I'm tired of it. My shit always works and I will not use Apple products. I take care of my phones and computers and wow...THEY FUCKING WORK.

Apple was put here for the sheep that like to drink the kool aid. I ain't having any.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to come in to this thread screaming about Apple.

I generally like technology, but at this stage in my life I'm no longer an early adapter. Let the tech geeks work the kinks out, get the price down, and make everything user friendly.

I'm hankering for an OLED TV, but I ain't shelling out major bucks, especially with very little 4K content available.

Actually, they kinda get under my skin too. I tried using their Hangouts video app for a work conference call and Skype/Microsoft has them by the balls with this technology.

My problem with Apple is mostly in the advertising. After that it's all the people that buy into it hook, line, and sinker. It's their chief goal to make everyone that isn't a fanboy/girl feel guilty for not being one, like you have to be in the club to succeed. Fuck them. I don't get that from Google. They have other shit that irritates me, but they're just not as in my face. They give me great Google Music storage space, the One drive is hip, their store is better, and I do like Android.
