Does anyone make a pizza with bolognese sauce rather than a tomato/marinara sauce?

    I've used Bolognese.
    Mine is traditional- made with Italian gravy, brown sauce with thyme, cream and parmesano reggiano. The thyme in the brown sauce throws it a bit, but with meat based pizzas other than pepperoni, it's quite good.

    Pizza crust is a platform for whatever you want. My local pizzeria makes lasagna pizza, chicken Marsala pizza, Caesar salad pizza, to name a few. I prefer regular pizza.

    The Olive Garden they opened near here is full all day, every day, 365 days a year since it opened about 3 years ago. The locals think it's great. I ate there once, got take out a couple of times. Chef Boy Ardee isn't far off.

    Settebello in LA/LV/SLC has a bolognese pizza on the menu. Plus they have one with a jalapeƱo pear marmalade that I would commit homicide for.

    Good bolognese sauce takes a lot of attention, good wine and hours to make. I can't imagine throwing it on some dough and under a pile of cheese.
