Listened to it on my AM radio as a little kid
That's a good story
Sadly, I do remember it.
Poor Paper Lace, they were the first ones to record it and at least they sold the whole Civil War concept when they played it. At least they have "The Night Chicago Died".
Yes, it was Billay, Billay don't you lose my nuhmbah....great song.
Neat. Missed that one back in the day.
But I like that drummer. Sort of like a developmentally challenged John Bonham.
and ppl say music made now is bad?
I had not heard that before. Thankfully.
They got their hit with "The Night Chicago Died".
I bet Baba Booey can sing this word for word!
This is a great song.
You want great music, you have to be willing to dive deep into the 70's
Even though there is no "east side of Chicago".
No it wasn't--
...and yes I remember all those songs from that time, how about this one
God, AM radio sucked back in those days. I was grateful when I got my claws on an FM radio.
There is if you cross "The Outfit"
That song was played and played and played ....
Goddam right it was.
Don't block me just cause you are wrong.
